Hive Social is back online 🐝

Yes I know we’re all loitering on #Post or #Mastodon to see if this is our #Twitter replacement, which I think is the wrong way to look at making this transition, but #Hive is back online after a few weeks away with #iOS and #Android Apps.

The small team behind this #social platform made a huge decision to pull down their #app during the first #TwitterMigration rush as users ran from Musk-Ville during the first staff purge in order to fix things, and it seems to have been the right move as well as daring.

It’s a pretty slick UI with some fun additions like song integration from Apple Music, and Spotify to come, to personalise your profile, Nick Drake is currently playing on mine 🎶😊 

It’s another option worth checking out. I don’t think there is now or will be a direct Twitter replacement, that social fabric of the internet is irrevocably damaged and its social currency irreplaceable. In saying that there’s no reason we can’t be having just as much fun and making new friends in lots of other innovative places. 🤗
