About THE ASTONISHING ADVENTURES

This writing project was one I started over ten years ago but life got weird and it was disastrously derailed. With life a lot better it’s time I got this little fevered dream of mine on paper and out of my head.

The Astonishing Adventures tells the tale of Heracles Flint, 19th century entrepenur, scientist and swashbuckler with intentions to make the world a better place but his efforts uncover a war being waged in the shadows. Vampires, werewolves, demons, monsters, aliens and angels are just some of the threats he faces in the latter half of the 1800s. Aided by some steampunk knowhow, a mechanical man, an undead bride, a man from tomorrow, the Queen of the Werewolves, an alien with a fast food obsession and a 21st century cop along for the ride, the fight is on for the future of humanity.

I’ll update this page as the project develops with details of the anthology that starts the series, ‘The Astonishing Adventures – Beginnings‘ and the trilogy that follows, ‘Forever in Shadow‘, ‘Tartarus Unbound‘, and ‘The Last Day‘ (some titles may change). There’s also a space opera series that links directly to the Astonishing Adventures, ‘Chronicles of The Invincible‘ but that’s a few years away.
