We’ve an abundance of Doctor Who coming in 2023 and it’s looking great. As a ‘Whovian’ since the 70s, which may be before the term was coined I’ve enjoyed the ‘New Who’ just as much as the classics. The only annoying bit in the last few years was the scarcity of new episodes, some of which was because of COVID issues but some felt like the BBC wavering as usual in its commitment to the series. If figures drop at all they question its viability and retreat which exacerbates the problem.
However with Russel T Davies returning as showrunner bringing his usual enthusiasm 2023 with the 60th Anniversary, David Tennant’s familiar face leaving question marks about how and why he’s back, and a new Doctor in Ncuti Gatwa who I think is going to be awesome there’s an overload of Artron energy coming next year.
The BBC released some new promotional photos and a video of Gatwa and his new companion Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday showcasing their official outfits.

The new Doctor’s suit fabric seems to be the same as Tom Baker’s 4th Doctor’s waistcoat which is a nice design touch. Can’t wait! 😊
